eCommerce Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Our website only accepts payment by MasterCard or Visa. Your credit card may be charged in Australian or New Zealand dollars depending on your shipping address.

2. Price All prices quoted are in Australian or New Zealand dollars and are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated. All prices are subject to change without notice.

3. Invoicing Your tax invoice will document all products and applicable delivery charges and be packed with the goods. It will state that you have prepaid your order by credit card. Your credit card will not be billed until the product is dispatched to you.

4. Shipping and Delivery Free delivery for online orders over $40 (including GST). If your order is below $40 (including GST) you will be charged a $9.50 shipping fee. Please note that if after applying a promotion code your order total is less than $40 (including GST), the delivery surcharge will apply.

5. Cancelling an Order If you wish to cancel an order, or part of an order, that has not been dispatched, please contact Customer Services on 1800 646 572 (Toll free in Australia), 0800 449 312 (Free phone in New Zealand) or email cservice_sydney@mcgraw-hill.com and quote your order number. 

6. Promotional Codes Please note that only one promotional code will be accepted per transaction and are only valid for the specified period stated on related marketing material.

7. Returns and claims Please choose carefully. McGraw-Hill does not give refunds or accept returns if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection. We strive to ensure that all claims are resolved promptly and efficiently. All deliveries should be checked on receipt, and any discrepancies or damage must be reported immediately for the claim to be considered. No claim can be made after the expiration of seven (7) days from date of receipt of goods. 

Where goods are faulty, submit a claim within 7 days from date of receipt of goods. Please quote the invoice number, ISBN of book and description of the damage. You may choose between a refund or resupply of text.

Where goods are short supplied or incorrectly supplied, goods must be returned to at McGraw-Hill in perfect condition. All returns of this nature must be pre-authorised by McGraw-Hill's customer service department.

8. Dispatch from our Warehouse - Australian Customers Orders are dispatched from our Queensland warehouse. Standard delivery times using regular service will apply. If your order is in stock please allow one day from placing your order for it to be dispatched from our warehouse. For out of stock items please allow up to four weeks to supply. For NYP product please add this time from the listed book publication date.

8a. Delivery Times - Australia Deliveries will be made between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Estimated delivery times are shown below. Transit times to Far North Queensland, Northern WA and Australian island territories may take longer.

9. Dispatch from our Warehouse - New Zealand Customers Orders are dispatched from our Queensland warehouse every Tuesday and Friday weekly. If your order is in stock please allow one day from placing your order for it to be dispatched from our warehouse. For out of stock items please allow up to four weeks to supply.

9a. Delivery Times - New Zealand Deliveries will be made between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Estimated delivery times are shown above.

10. Delivery Restrictions We only ship orders placed from this website to Australia and New Zealand. Please call or email customer service if you have any questions regarding other international delivery locations.

11. Availability Messages Please note that the availability is only accurate at the time the product catalogue page is built. The catalogue pages are updated regularly. During this time period, the stock levels may vary and the availability of a product might change. If a product should have become unavailable, you will be notified by email and will have the option to cancel the order if you should wish.

12. McGraw-Hill Australia and New Zealand reserves the right to withhold further supplies in the event of any material breach of these terms and conditions or for any other reason, which, at the discretion of the company warrants such action. 

13. McGraw-Hill Australia and New Zealand shall not be held liable in any way for loss of trade or profit occurring to the customer in the event of delivery of the goods being frustrated or delayed by reason of fire, flood, accidents, riots, lockouts, trade disputes, acts or restraints of governments, the imposing of restrictions on exploration or from other causes not within reasonable control of the company.

14. All advertised prices are subject to change without prior notice. 

15. McGraw-Hill Education Australia and New Zealand will make every effort to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we disclaim all liabilities resulting from the following:

• Technical problems resulting in errors (including pricing errors) or interruptions of the website, due to server upgrades or otherwise. In the unlikely event that a product's correct price is higher than that shown, we will contact you to see if you still wish to proceed with the order
• Incompatibility of the website with your hardware, software or telecommunication links
• Failure of the website to meet your requirements

16. Security All order information placed through the website resides on a secure SSL server. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet.
