Access to McGraw-Hill Resources - Frequently Asked Questions
In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Australia and New Zealand travel restrictions are changing daily. During this time of uncertainty, the McGraw-Hill team is here to assist you and your students and answer any questions you might have around accessing course resources.
What is the best way for students to purchase resources for their Australian/New Zealand course?
If your students have a credit card and an Australian/New Zealand shipping address, the best way for students to purchase their resources is online at www.mheducation.com.au. For digital resources, they can follow the URL provided via First Day of Class activities, or by accessing Connect through their institution's Learning Management System (LMS).
What about printed textbooks?
With the potential disruption to roads and highways, restrictions on workplace hours, and self-quarantine requirements, the deliverability of printed textbooks to students in impacted regions could be negatively affected.
At this time, we highly recommend that students purchase digital resources.
My course is using a digital only platform this semester instead of a print book. Can it be accessed outside of Australia and New Zealand?
Connect and most of its functionality can be accessed from China and other affected countries.
Students should purchase their access using a credit card through the URL provided by their instructor.
If your institution is using a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, in addition to a McGraw-Hill resource, and students are experiencing access issues, please check with your institution regarding access to that platform from outside Australia and New Zealand.
I was given a discount code for purchasing McGraw-Hill resources this semester. Will it work from outside of ANZ?
Yes, McGraw-Hill's discount codes can be applied during the checkout process when purchasing eBooks on our website www.mheducation.com.au using a credit card.
My course resources are integrated into my institution’s Learning Management System (LMS) e.g. Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, this semester. Can enrolled students who are in China or another country access the resources?
Instructors will need to check with their institution’s LMS administrators, as McGraw-Hill has no control over whether or how an LMS can be accessed from China.
